Instant Millet Dosa Mix

  • 100 grams Milletable Instant Millet Dosa Mix

    200 ml water

    Oil for greasing and roasting

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, take 100 grams of Instant Millet Dosa Mix.

    2. Pour in 200 ml of water into the bowl. Adjust the water quantity as needed for the desired batter consistency. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to form a smooth batter. Ensure there are no lumps.

    3. Cover the bowl and set it aside for approximately 15 minutes. This resting time allows the batter to ferment slightly and develop a better flavor.

    4. Heat a dosa tawa (griddle) on medium-high heat.Once the tawa is hot, grease it lightly with oil or ghee. You can use a small piece of an onion or a cloth for this purpose.Pour a ladleful of the prepared dosa batter onto the center of the tawa.Using the back of the ladle or a circular motion, spread the batter evenly to form a thin or thick dosa, depending on your preference.Add a tablespoon of oil around the edges of the dosa and a few drops on the top.

    5. Allow the dosa to cook until the edges start to turn golden brown, and the surface looks cooked.Gently flip the dosa using a spatula and cook the other side until it becomes crispy and golden.Once both sides are cooked to your liking, remove the dosa from the tawa and place it on a serving plate.

    6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the tawa lightly before making each dosa.Serve your crispy and nutritious Millet Dosa hot with chutney or sambar. Enjoy!

    7. Feel free to add chopped vegetables, grated cheese, or any other toppings of your choice to make your dosa more flavourful.
